New Guidelines Announced for the Evaluation and Treatment of Varicose Veins
New guidelines for the management of varicose veins and associated chronic venous disease were just published today in a supplement to the Journal of Vascular Surgery. The guidelines, which focus on evaluation and treatment of varicose veins of the lower limbs and pelvis, were developed by a joint Venous Guideline Committee of the Society for Vascular Surgery® (SVS) and the American Venous Forum (AVF).
